Youthanasia is a great metal album but usually overlooked in the Megadeth discography, as the group serve up a more straight-forward metal album. It was also the last great album before they indulged in a whole load of badly advised crap sounding albums that started with Cryptic Writings and continued with Risk and finished with The World Needs a Hero. As far as I`m concerned this crap period permantly damaged the credibility of this band.

I skimmed all 9 pages of this thread and I didn't see him mentioned (unless I missed him). He is criminally underrated. I also agree with Brian May who was mentioned. |
