Ulver
There is way too many threads for horrible 90's nu-grunge "rock" right now so I'm making one about one of the best bands ever.
Ulver. What's s so awesome about them is the variance between albums The Madrigal Of Night = Black Metal. And it was recorded in the ****ing woods. Amazing Kevldssanger = acoustic folk tunes with a choir Themes From William Blake's The Marriage of Heaven And Hell = electronic black tinged trip-hop classical. ya rly Perdition City = weird electronica/trip-hop Bergtatt = folky black metal. God this band rules. I can upload anything but Themes. Discuss!

Ulver is really awesome. Probably my favourite Avante-Garde Metal band. Lost in Moments is a sick song.

some Ulver annoys me, i don't know, it just doesn't quite work, but i do definitely appreciate and love how varied they are..
but.. when it comes down to it. it's ALL about 'bergtatt'! a masterpiece. and i don't know how anyone can deny that. |
