this is the worst opeth album in my opinion.. i just can't listen to it without thinking how many of their albums i COULD be listening to and enjoying more.. 'my arms, your hearse' compared to this!! well, it just doesn't even deserve to have their logo on the new one to be honest.

I love this album and it has my favorite song (Beneath the Mire) on it. It is very experimental in terms of what Opeth may be doing next. I felt that there was a lot fo elements from blues in this album also. Next I would go to Blackwater Park or Damnation. I really like those albums.

One of the best albums, by one of the best bands of the new mellenium. All of their albums kick ass. Some of the earlier CD's are a little lacking in production quality, but astheticly, they all kick seriouse butt. Huge fan here. Even got to see them last year here in Spokane, WA. Great show!!!

I agree with you, they are my favorite band and I cannot find any flaw in most of their albums except 2, which are Deliverence and Orchid, but they are both good albums. |
