Default Giant [NC]

Not to be confused with the Giant from a while ago that did art rock or some crap genre in a crappy way. Anyway no more name drop after name drop here is a thread. Here's a link www.myspace.com/giantnc They're post metal done really well. Needless to say they're awesome. I saw them live like 4months ago and stood 3 inches away from one of em. As far as accuracy goes probably the best set I've ever seen. If you're in to heavy progressive stuff you should really give it a chance or even if you're not...

They really need to play in Northern Virginia. I'd be all over that.

Out of the 3 songs on there I was really only able to get into Calvin but that long instrumental section near the end is hypnotic.

Musically they're sweet. The Post-rock/metal genres are so damn chilling, you know, I find listening to these sorts of bands on a cool day makes the day seem 5 degrees cooler, such a gloomy tone to things, more-so than doom.

Or I might just have problems

I'll spam the crap out of it when they get more shows posted but I think it might be a month or so atleast. They haven't done a weekend NC show in ages.
