I agree that piece didn't do a lot for me, and I really like Boris. It's like the other day I bought Flower Travellin Bands latest album and it's absolute tits below the waist line. Just not what I had in mind or remebered. But then I shouldnt have expected them to be awesome like they were 30 years ago, should I?

I think that track is downright bizarre, coming from Boris. Wata did a good remake of "Rain" on the BXI ep, but this tune's weak.

Has anyone been to see Boris?

I'm listening to Rattlesnake, 1970, Pseudo Bread, Electric and so on and so on, and it's like I cant get my headphones far enough into my head to soak up all that these guys have to offer. Can't imagine how good they'd be live.

/me and Boris already at the alter.

They're fantastic live. I saw them just after Pink came out, and it was mindblowing. They ended the gig with an excerpt from Flood, which was one of the best things I've ever seen live.

New Album is actually good... I mean, I'll be the first to declare I have an enormous bias against it, considering how much I love Flood/Feedbacker, but it's good. "Spoon" is almost MBV-like.

I followed up a listen of said album with Flood, and Christ... Seven minutes into "III" gets me every single time.

I bought a copy of Pink last night having got to the point where I felt it was unfair of me to just bludge off the internet as I often do. Awesome artwork btw, havent a clue what to do with the perferated pictures though (this is through the Southern Lord issue)

so, like, wtf.

four new albums released by them in 2011 already.

edit: nevermind, they are stupendously prolific.
