Cool Any unknown rock bands?

Im getting tired of listening to the same old bands and stuff I wanted to know if you guys know any good bands that are new or you think i havent heard of.

i went to school with the lead singer of decadent nation. and my friend is roomates with a couple guys from pierpoint. theyre a few of my fav locals.

Stratovarius, Symphony X, Hammerfall, Edguy, Rhapsody...sure you haven't heard these yet?

OK, they are Metal. If you want Hard Rock, try Lordi. Apparently they are the No.1 band in Finland at the moment and quite frankly, they are pretty good.
