These two are amazing. And the rest of what you said Big3 is spot on.

I don't take these too seriously, although their music suggests I should.
And that's what I like about them...mad as fuck.

Cheers man.

Well, this is a much more musically convincing album, I'm pretty sure the swearing is a much more applied strategy then the last album too haha. I have to take my previous comment back, it would seem this album is rather serious even if the topics are still cheesy and typical JB. None the less it's great, some awesome tunes.

Tits or destiny?

Default Tenacious D

Tenacious D is probably the best thing to happen to me as far as rock. Now don't get me wrong, I love bands like Metallica, Nirvana, etc. But Tenacious D stands out as the odd yet awesome band.

What about you! Agree or Disagree? Any other opinions? Also, does anybody here actually like The Pick of Destiny movie?

Well, I don't listen to a lot of Tenacious D, but I like them. I even liked The Pick of Destiny.

The new album's got a couple of good songs too. At least the title track was kinda cool.

Yea, ok. They're fun but they are not really great band. Their songs are really simple and predictable, and the new album, come on!

New album? brb....

Back:

...

Yeah, more of the same, and getting more tiresome, they used up all their ideas in their first album, which they have been constantly referring back to since.

I like the good songs they had on each album (including knowing all the tribute lyrics), but they just ran out of creativity IMO and overdid the "we are tenacious d" angle as the theme of almost every song.

They're Kinda fun to listen to but I saw them live once and didn't enjoy it at all. It was really boring.
