I had never listened to them until I saw this thread and looked them up on YouTube. Based on the one song I have now heard by them I would say they definitely are more than capable of making bad music. But that's just me, I'm sure you have your reasons for liking them.

Breaking Benjamin
This is my favorite band because their songs helped me through a critical phase of my life.
I listened to all their songs repeatedly ... like a lot of times... really like everyday lol My favorite song is probably breath from phobia album, But all their songs are epic... Anyone else a fan? any news about em? :] |

I love Breaking Benjamin. I particularly like their first two albums. It kept with their nu-metal style. From the album 'Phobia' to the present, the songs started to sound the same. They turned more toward alternative metal. (Keep in mind I do not associate nu-metal and alternative metal as the same sub-genre; don't even try to argue with me about it!)
What's just as good was the band 'Lifer'. The guitarist and drummer were part of that band but left to join Breaking Benjamin. If you haven't checked them out, I highly urge you too! |
