found another band! again from the european scene.. seems like quite a lot of european bands are finally getting their stuff over here.

the band are Year of no Light and the album is called Nord... its a progression from the music Isis/Cult of luna etc have been making in the past years... heavy parts are more epic, heavy and more 'doom', melodic parts are more beautiful, more ambient. in fact.. i think their my new favourites in the genre.

Here in oz land we have only just got Trivium, hatebreed and cannibal corpses new stuff and it all shows a reasonable amount of new generation music. They are sticking with true metal origin but still seem seem to have come up with something worth listening to.

living in oz is no excuse for putting up with Trivium!

people, check out Teeth of the Hydra... a bit like Mastodon but much better :D

Anyone heard of a band called The Angelic Process?

I did a search but nothing came up.

This is what it says about them...
The Angelic Process are a band cromprising of K.Angylus & MDragynfly, out of Athens, GA and Jacksonville, AL, respectively. Their debut release Coma Waering can best be described as ambient drone metal with such obvious influences as: Swans, Neurosis, Merzbow, Masonna, My Bloody Valentine, Coil

There are plenty of metal kids on this forum one of you must have this & be willing to share :D
