Oh well, that's my bad then.

You understand what I am attempting to say though?

Rock is played out to a certain degree. There are tons of new interesting music genres that are far more appealing to the youth of today. They have moved on from 4/4 rock n roll to more aesthetically pleasing music. I'm sure rock will make a comeback at some point, but it has taken a back seat to a different musical path.

There's all kinds of rock orientated music on YouTube if you just follow the suggestions list.

YouTube is your friend.

American music doesn't have the same creativity that it once had. I personally have found that artists from other parts of the world to be more appealing.

I think it goes both ways myself. Some of my favorite modern rock bands and artist are out of Texas, especially concerning metal

That has completely to do with the type of music you actually like. There are loads of really good indie bands coming from the US and different states in recent years.

You are right

but I think that poster was talking about the mainstream music and I would have to agree.

HellYeah is a mainstream metal band out of Texas that is one of my current favorite. Left remnants of Pantera.

Joey Jordisons new band, Scar The Martyr.

The christian metal band out of Nashville Tennessee, Skillet. Their 2013 release Rise is a fairly good metal album.
Currently on tour with Godsmack and Buckcherry.

Thats sounds really interesting. So its metal music with gospel lyrics? I wouldn't mind checking that out, I love gospel/christian music.

Then you should check out Warlord. They're like a hella Christian version of Iron Maiden. Love them.
