Well, I bought it Wednesdy, and have given it a good playing for the last few days. It is pretty, good, right in line with the Maiden I knew and loved for so long. I will say, however, that most of the tracks are slower paced, and overall, the cd has a much more subdued tone.

There are a few moments of the trademark Iron Maiden guitar 'gallops' that you find in songs like The Trooper and Die With Your Boots On, but for the most part, it's more on pace with Children Of The Damned, as far as atmosphere.

It does seem to drag a bit, but make no mistake, it's Maiden, through and through. Good to hear the boys are back.

Up the irons!!!
