Meshuggah has some good records, some bad ones.

The Dillinger Escape Plan are the best example of this kinda music.

'Catch Thirty-Three' is fucking amazing. I actually prefer it over their older material.

You know music can do all sorts of things: soothe, heal, rev up, kick start, depress, hype, motivate, or even anger....but I didn't know it did math too. maybe that is probably mainstream hasn't heard of math metal...it takes too long to write one freakin song when you have to make the chords calculate the mathmatical equation of Infinity. Hell I had trouble just writing that last sentence.
