Default Lykathea Aflame - Elvenefris

1. Land Where Sympathy Is Air
2. To Become Shelter And Salvation
3. Bringer Of Elvenefris Flame
4. Flowering Entities
5. To Give
6. On The Way Home
7. Shine Of Consolation
8. Sadness And Strength
9. A Step Closer
10. An Old Man And A Child
11. Walking In The Garden Of Ma'at

Lykathea Aflame is something of an anomaly in the extreme metal scene. For one thing, they are very Christian and their beliefs come out in the undecipherable lyrics and also because they are better than almost any Technical Death Metal band ever. Think Cryptopsy meets Nile. And yet with better song writing and more parts that make sense. This is honestly one of the heaviest and most precise records ever and yet it is splashed with so much beauty one almost forgets the heaviness. And it makes for a damn beautiful listen. GET INTO IT

you guys need to get this album. If you say you listen to metal, you have to at least have it downloaded. I'm not even kidding. If you do not at least listen to it than we no longer should talk music. Ever. I'm serious.

I like Lykathea Aflame.

Being a fan of bands like Necrophagist, Atheist, Ephel Duath, Cynic, Nile, Death, Cryptopsy, Gorod, Quo Vadis and Demilich, it was only natural for me to find bands like Lykathea Aflame.

That's a pretty good comparison you made as well. The drumwork is very Cryptopsy like and there are some Egyptian parts which are fairly Nile like.

This is a great album, and I really hope that someone else will give it a listen as well. I mean it's free music which is great!!!

I downloaded but I haven't been in the metal mood in a while so I don't wanna listen to it and hate it.

I like it a lot and I don't even really like metal.
