Default The UKs answer to Tool..

Is TWINZERO.

anyone heard of them? this is a band i have followed from day 1. i band i saw live before i had heard any of their music. Why? because Karl Middleton is their vocalist. ex-earthtone9, he has the best voice i have ever heard and is completely flawless live. Now playing with members of Subvert, Vex Red, Scenes and Sack Trick. but yes... ive seen them go from pub venues to Rock City, and despite what you all think i do want them to get the recognition they deserve, as they're one of the few bands i like who are accessible enough to get big.

Im uploading their most recent album. its not flawless - the production is a bit cheesy (its self-produced), doesnt do much for the guitars, but give it a listen anyway. and go see them live... they put on one hell of a show (and strip)

I wouldn't want to listen to a band that is clearly a copy cat of another band.. at least bands should try to be them sevles and not another band.. I'm sure this just means they'll come out have a hit.. and in 5 years from now people will be questioning whatever happened to that band.. wait what was there name? i don't know.. tool?

I also listened to Twinzero's music and thought pretty much the same thing. Did not like. Sorry, SoundDevastation. I do, however, muchly like your band Aotea. What date were they playing Scruffy's in Birmingham?

I did not want this topic to be an argument about Tool, i was only trying to recommend a band which some of you may like!

Aotea have just finished a tour, but they will be back on tour again in a few weeks. the dates are at www.myspace.com/aotea. try and see them, they were great fun when i saw them last week, and lovely lovely guys.

I've listened to the album and their music is great. The vocals don't really do it for me but I can appreciate them none the less.

Home is my favourite song right now
