Who has the best scream in metal?
 

Ok guys, the title is pretty self explanatory IMO it would be out of Corey Taylor and Max Calvera, but having said that Max has an awesome scream, but Corey can sing softly as well... Hmm pretty hard competition.

Probably the vocalists in Wormphlegm. They have the most torturous screaming ever.

Apart from that, Chuck Schuldiner (Death) has the best scream in my books. You just have to listen to their cover of Painkiller to see that.

Devin Townsend (SYL) and Ian Gillan (Deep Purple) also worth a mention. I'll probably add some more in later. Maybe I should make a thread for the best growl in metal...

Gillan is hands down one of the greatest vocalists ever IMO.

Also Chad Grey has an awesome scream

yeah, he is very good. In fact, I'm listening to some Purple at the moment.

Tyler from Mare.. if you havent heard them, check them out.. sick scream, beautiful singing.

coming up second would be Alan Dubin from Khanate.
