Some people really get into the ambience of Post Rock and I for one do not find it tedious at all. It's all about switching off and being comfortable with the music but some definitely do find it tedious.

The new album is simply superb.

In wasn't sure where to put this thread, as they are a mixture of different genres. I like to think of them as avant garde though, either way they're a very good modern group.

Here's a song from their latest album that I really enjoy:

Symmetrical Arizona

And for fun:

Gemini Becoming the Tripod

Currently I have three of their albums including Blue Lambency Downward, Choirs of the Eye and Dowsing Anemone with Copper Tongue.
Your opinions on them? Have you heard of them? etc.

Have you actually heard any of their songs besides the ones I posted links to?

Yeah, I like them. All three albums they've released have been superb. Some didn't like their last release, "Blue Lambency Downward", but it's definitely one of my favorite releases this year. Weird jazzy avant-garde experimental rock?! Definitely my thing!
