Default Rick Springfield: Rock Or Not?

Lately, I've recently been getting into Rick Springfield's music becuase his 80s songs just rock. So I'm wondering, do you guys think that he's rock or pop or what? I personally think that he's rock because he plays guitar in nearly all of the songs he writes. Plus he's got a rock edge to his music. Do you guys agree or disagree?

I agree, He had a rock (guitar) edge to his music. I liked his single, 'We all need the'- (Human Touch). I think is the title?
