Small venues are the best.

I like the fresh air. I like the sunlight. Its so much more woodstock-esque that way. I prefer them to indoor venues.
what about the people who paid 60 bucks to actually watch the bands and kept getting pushed around?

i cant stand gigs in daylight.. takes away all atmosphere. and yeah, any venue larger than about 2000 and i probably wouldnt bother going even if the bands were good. its just not as interesting IMO, not if youre there for the music alone.

Well the ones who paid to see the band should just stand away from the pits. I mean, there was PLENTY of room to just stand there but they would choose to stand right next to it and get super pissed when somebody was shoved into them. Attendence must have been over 10,000. It was crazy when everyone's fists went up, I wish I could have gotten a picture of it.

I think Ozzfest has progressively gotten worse. I went several years ago and it had one of the best lineups ever. Now, it just seems they've gotten lazy or something. Plus, outside all day in the summer with a bunch of drunk *******s? Never again!!!

Why would you pay $60 to go to Ozzfest?!
That is ridiculous. Way too expensive.

Yeah, lawn tickets 50 yards from the main stage. I could have paid more to be under the pavillion.

Walls of Jericho, Strapping Young Lad, Norma Jean, Atreyu, Lacuna Coil, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed and System of a Down were all worth it. The other bands were simply fillers. If I wanted to be closer I could have paid 90. I was willing to but none of my friends really have jobs so 60 was bad enough for them.

So Ozzfest isn't general admission?
That sucks even worse.

Oh god, sounded like a good concert, I would've loved to go!

I really would've only wanted to see System and Disturbed but I don't mind the other bands. How was David's scream-type thing in Down With The Sickness in the intro? It would've sounded awesome
