I do prefer Pantera though.
Thats what I was thinking to myself though in Pantera's favour. I felt they had more influencial material, and certainly a larger imact than Priest. Although Pantera are not considered a part of the thrash fab four, I definitely feel they are greater for their much larger impact, juxtaposed to Priest.

It's gotta be said that Pantera were much better, but songs like F*ck you and New found power are quality.

i agree, damage plan got way too much hype for what they delivered. pantera is superior in every way.

Just to clear things up, F*cking Hostile is their fastest song, hands down.

Their best album is either CFH, GSTK or VDOP. I can't decide. Top 5 songs go as follows:

1. Cowboys from hell
2. Cemetary Gates
3. New level
4. War Nerve
5. Yesterday don't mean sh*t

^F*cking Hostile is such a song. Pantera are one of those bands you can always listen to, no matter what album you choose or what mood you're in. Im gonna be cliche and pick Vulgar Display of Power, but bugger me, what an album.. Walk is and always will be an absolute anthem.
