Yeah don't be hard on yourself.
I mean... your the only one in history to have ever got it wrong, but you know, theres still time for someone else to do it.

Well, if i was going to give you an album, and change the "tt" to "xx" i wouldn't rename it.
I would post it like this hxxp://musicbanter.com not Lolzgohere |

I voted for AEnima, Its a good album, amazing songs on that, some of there best for that matter.
as for there new album, I can't belive that was a choice, I mean can anyone actually say thats ther favorite tool album? don't people have ears and realize that there sound and his voice and everything on that album compared to the other tool albums is crap? I mean the album doesn't suck completely but its just not good compared to the past records.. too much of a perfect circle was in the new tool album. |

Billy and Adam sound nothing alike. Maynard wasn't even there when Adam was writing for 10,000 Days. It's progression whether you like it or not. I hate when bands practically put the same album 3 times. And, people's voice's mature. He can't help that. It has been five years since Lateralus was released. He put out 3 other albums and went on tour. That's a lot of singing.

It's not really progression though... I mean, from Aenima to Lateralus was serious progression. In 10,000 Days it sounds like they're trying to re-hash all their old styles in one album and add in tons of weird time signatures because "Meshuggah did it." In the end, it's pretty cool, but not very compelling.
Anyway, that's my opinion on it now that it's sunk in. |
