Default Need some good bands.

Im just running dry on music to listen to, and I wasnt sure where to look. Im going to go ahead and post some music I like listening to, and maybe some of you guys can help me with some new bands to check out!

I like

Audioslave
Dave mathews
Flaming Lips
Mars volta
Red hot chili pepers
oasis
porcupine tree
radio head

I know that is a wide variety of music, but its sort of in the nice rock beat without screeming vocals genre :P

Any help would be great!

Muse should handle the Radiohead in you while travis will come close to Oasis and Modest Mouse could go along with almost any of the bands you posted except for the chili peppers. Have you ever listened to any Faith No More? If not, add that to your list!

Damn, I'm surprised you never heard of them!!!Maybe you heard them once or twice, but forgot their name or who they were?

Anyways, they are a decent band, but here's a wise tip for you to be able to stand them and enjoy their music more...
...mute the voice, period...lol!!!

Whaaaattt? You think Mike Patton's vocals are bad?

Perhaps some of them might seem a bit strange at first, but he's probably the most versatile vocalist I've ever heard.

I agree: His style is a little eccentric, but FNM with a "normal" singer would sound wrong.
