I can see why you are saying that... I do think some of their material comes across as sincere so I can't fully agree with them just creating for a specific group of people because I wouldn't fit into that group.
Repeating "**** you I won't do what you tell me" a hundred times is where I think Rage sucked... but songs like "People of the sun" and "No Shelter" came across as deep & intelligent to me |

whatever boo boo. if you really believe 90% of the music that exists was made specifically for TEENAGERS then you're a moron.
RATM was the soundtrack for the teenagers who believed they were too smart and in touch with the world for marilyn manson. that's not to say their entire audience fit that category but it definitely made up a very large portion. |
