Did they take it seriously though? Its all good and well getting a message across but how's it perceived. Its like wih Public Enemy. I ADORE Public Enemy but Im not of the belief that by and large all that stuff about Black Power and Malcolm X had much effect. It was a VERY powerful statement though, far far more powerful than RATM.

ok so maybe i exaggerated i stick up for politcal bands that arent emo for the most part
i mean hey theres so much emo in the world we should be bashing their thoughtless drivel except angels in airwaves hahahaha jk |

Ok I have to agree with you but RATM should not be lumped with those bands. Limp Bizkit and Korn suck beyond thoughts, but if you compare RATM and them I can say they don't belong in that list.

Real emo is a style of hardcore that started in the mid to late 80s (I might be wrong, someone might want to correct me on that) that is actually rather good. I'd take Heroine over RATM any day.

blink 182 is way worse that korn
korn had some good songs(nothing past life is peachy, i swear not one song after life is peachy is worth listening to, oh man dont get me started) blink 182 had none, not one song i can even stand to hear without wanting to throw up everywhere, who ever put emo on any radio station? wtf is wrong with these emo fans? |
