Tom Morello's statement on the recent news of RATM's reunion show at Coachella:
"Is it a coincidence that in the seven years that Rage Against The Machine has been away that the country has slid into right-wing purgatory? I think not." Honestly Tom... so what you're saying is that the war in Iraq has got nothing to do with the price of oil or the troubles in the Middle East but is actually all because you havent released a record in 7 years. F*** me, I want CNN to broadcast that NOW!!!

Yay! for one I am happy that they're back together, Audioslave were going very sour. It'll be good to see if they can bring out any more material as good as their old albums!

Audioslave > RATM
but they're both as boring as music can possibly get. Edit: I'm like the only person ever who really honestly hates the way RATM sounded. Last edited by The Unfan; 02-03-2007 at 01:54 PM. Obviously you're too gay to have a valid opinion.

For me probably the worst thing about RATM was the politics. It was so general as to be almost non existent and the legacy of all that is college students wearing Che Guevarra shirts without knowing who the f*** he was.

yea ur a naysayer.. the thing is to even get the hint of that across to people is a good thing. how else do you expect a concept like that to get across a mass audience in those years early-late 90s
