I just bought Mesmerize after hearing "Violant Pornography" on the radio. Do not regard Stea this Album as a CD they made. it was slapped together to thwart pirating. This CD is worth the cash, I think SOAD will be one of the bands that are still making great records in 10 years.

more than likly. its a band that does disappoint, and the music is always there with SOAD. I didn't think that their first CD was that good. Comparitivly, Toxicity and this new CD wipe the floor with it. Thats my opinion cause I don't need to impress people with being there at the begining.

I bought the Mezmerize album just yesterday, and Ive listened to it a good few times. Its one of those albums that grabs you from the first time you hear it... Well, for me anyways. Definetly worth the money...

I was listening to Mezmirize a lot yesterday and today at my friends house. Some of the good songs that stick in my memory were "Violent Pornography", and "Revenga". One of the things that makes this cd more diverse than the others is that Mezmirize is the first SOAD album with Dolmayan playing double bass drums. That changes things up a little and gives it the Metal feel they are looking for.

Someone obviously missed the point of why "Steal this Album" was released. It wasn't released to make anyone think that the band was going downhill, it was released because unfinished, unmixed songs were leaked out, and someone actually went so far as to review them. I personally love SOAD, since I first heard the song Ariels. I have every system of down album, except the new one (which I plan to buy after I get my next NGC game) and would be hard pressed to say which was my fav. songs, because so many of them have meaning, and that's what I love in music. I didn't think there was anything at all wrong with steal this album, and if I had to pick a fav song it would be ADD which is on steal this album. Some of the songs that were on STA were from before SOAD was a big name, and songs that didn't fit in with the flow of Toxicity. Maybe some of you here need to free your life!
