SOAD is actually a band I like, I love the song "Chop Suey".

I thought that his solo album was better than all of SOAD's stuff, and I actually like their s/t, Toxicity, and the two later albums a bit. |

![]() On the bright side, I'm beginning to warm up to Hypnotize...(:

I gave Serj's album another spin, wasn't as bad as I remember, but much less metal. The Scars On Broadway album is actually GOOD. I definitely enjoyed it way more than Serj's album. I'm gonna listen a few more times and see what my favorite songs are. Right now Babylon caught my ears, as well as a few early tracks.
The Scars On Broadway album sounds more like System than Serj does. And Hypnotize is their most underrated record (probably because Mezmerize overshadowed it in terms of popularity). It was my favorite, anyways.

I'm gonna have to disagree again, if anything it sounds less like System. I thought this album was much more melodic and veered more into rock than metal. I also couldn't help but notice that, while it certainly is better than Serj's solo, there's something missing. At least now we know who was responsible for the catchy choruses in System...

My personal favorite tracks: Stoner-Hate, Enemy, 3005. I actually abhor the single at the end though... Quote:
