When you look at their earlier work it is pretty daring, pretty extremist and that once-was wildfire has now dwindled down to the campfire that is Hypnotize.

i dont really think there is any reason to compare the two they are pretty different...
but definetly SOAD, great band

whoopdi****indoo it doesnt matter about how much they put on the line for the song its just mean't to be good music and people saying they're new stuff is crap are just stupid, those 2 albums were supposed to be alike they were an LP bands like to try new stuff I personally don't see much difference.

Have any of you people acctually bought the albums "Mezmerize" and "Hypnotize" and listened to all the songs clearly and payed attention??:hphones:

On Mezmerize theres great songs like "Revenga" and "Question" and thats just to name a few and on Hypnotize theres "Attack", "Hypnotize" and "Tentative" just to name a few again, if you don't like the albums well just dont say that they're **** or compare them to their earlier work, don't say they're more pop because they want to spread they're music and you hear them on the radio, just shut up and congragulate them on their success for god's sake!:usehead: :beer:

System Of A Down are easily the greater band in my opinion, but I do enjoy a bit of Static from time to time - mainly the first and second albums, though.

I probably wouldn't have been able to make a decision before Systems one/two newest albums came out - they've really grown as a band and the songs situated across those pieces of work really shine. Plus the production is just fantastic now, but it was never terrible or anything.
