Yes, SOAD was very popular, but they were one of the popular bands that I cared for. I like all of their albums, although their S/T debut is still my favorite. It was one of the first CDs that I bought.

Yeah, they were featured in a lot of video games back in about 2001-2004 IIRC. Pretty badass sound for mainstream radio, though.

Wow. I had no idea Steal This Album! was not actually supposed to exist, and that it was only made because some idiot released a few unfinished songs on the interwebs.
Some of my favorite SOAD songs come from that album.

Also, Fred Hale...............looking back I see that we have more music in common than I thought.

I wish their solo works were as good as the group work. I like it all but not as much.
