A lot of people bitch about Hypnotize, I don't think it was that bad of an album to be honest. However....

One thing I never got was that if you took Hypnotize, and split it in half, the songs they pushed were the weaker songs. Lonely day was pushed big time as singles when far superior songs like "Dreaming", "Kill Rock N' Roll", "Vicinity of Obscenity", etc. were just kind of on the album.

Just a bizarre phenomenon.

But yes, Lonely Day is an abysmal song on all levels.

Some of my fav SOAD songs are on Hypnotize. It's just that Lonely Day is probably the only one of their songs out of their entire discography that I outright hate. So lame.

Chop Suey was what got me into them several years ago.

One of my favorite bands. Love them.

Alas, they still aren't coming anywhere near where I live. =\

I will most likely be going to their show here near San Diego.





I find this band hilarious, in a good way. Hope they do songs from their first album, best one in my opinion.
