This might be a good news, if true, but then again it might not be. Although I like SOAD, their last album was a piece of crap and if they're going to make another album like that, then it may be better if they didn't reunite. Serj Tankian's solo was great.

Are you talking about Mezmerize/Hypnotize ?! Cause those two albums (more of a single double-album) were perfect. A big jump up since Steal this album! that is, in my opinion, their weakest.

steal this album can't really count...it is a b-sides/rarities album that was only released because ****ty versions of those songs were flying around the net so the band mastered them.

It's got some really nice tracks, and is a really well made album. A lot of its tracks were released as singles, and were made into music videos. Though I have to take back that it's their worst, I really love every track on it lol. But that "last album was a piece of crap" statement made me somehow angry.

i used to listen to them when i was younger, not so much nowadays but i still appreciate their works. I think i still have like 5 of their albums, my favorite is toxicity. The chop suey song is awesome.

i'm right with you on that. the only thing that really bothered me about it at all was that serj seemed to be taking a backseat. but that is a small complaint considering how epic the whole thing is...not many metal bands can put out a double album that i can listen to the whole way through. i've always respected them for maintaining their armenian heritage, even in their music.

Exactly! Though their distinct style hasn't changed from the first till the last album, it has never plunged into repetition, and that's something I really respect.

I count that as two separate albums, since they sold separately. Mezmerize was good, but I didn't like Hypnotize at all. I only liked one song on that album.
