It probably won't be, but I hope it is.
Em, no, it really wasn't. I just heard it and it's basically slightly watered down SOAD...as suspected, not particularly memorable.

On the bright side, I'm beginning to warm up to Hypnotize...(:

I thought the album took a lot of influence from classical, but I may have a bias from the song name "Beethoven's ****." Songs like Empty Walls definitely had a ton of classical influence.

I gave Serj's album another spin, wasn't as bad as I remember, but much less metal. The Scars On Broadway album is actually GOOD. I definitely enjoyed it way more than Serj's album. I'm gonna listen a few more times and see what my favorite songs are. Right now Babylon caught my ears, as well as a few early tracks.

The Scars On Broadway album sounds more like System than Serj does. And Hypnotize is their most underrated record (probably because Mezmerize overshadowed it in terms of popularity). It was my favorite, anyways.

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

That's also a bullshit opinion seeing as how the difference between them is minute.

SOAD were an acquired taste for me, but you can't deny that they're pretty good. Deer Dance has to be one of my favorites.
What's the deal though, have they split up, or just taken a break? I know Serj Tankian has started a solo career, what about the others?
