Gotta lay my vote down for muse simply because I haven't heard much of radiohead, which already makes me biased but I think Muse is a breath of fresh air from this mainstream mess.

I have never heard Muse on the radio except for Hysteria. Though I hear thats not the case accross the pond where they are more popular.

And I assume anything that is not Pitchfork approved is a mainstream mess.

Not at all, it's just that Muse in particular are not very good and happen to be extremely popular in the mainstream and very fashionable too at the same time.

Liking Muse over here (and in some other parts of Europe) is used as some sort of lame signifier of having good, trendy, fashionable taste.
