Probably alternative as I like a lot of bands which fit in that category like Sonic Youth and Joy Division for example.

Hmm, I like many styles of rock but I think I usually stick to alot of bands in the prog-rock sub-genre.

I think if you like rock you can listen to all the sub-genres, I just kinda depends what mood you're in. So I like all of the above. But not at once

thats not true. i like several types of rock but i cannot stomach hair metal for example. rap rock is pretty shocking too.

I cant vote on just one. I dislike alot of like new rock and so called 'punk' rock, but classic is good, so i'll go with that.

I voted prog, but i can't really choose, right now i'd have to say a mixture between new wave and stoner rock
