Have you heard of a Japanese band called Te' ? They're some very strong post-rock, I'd give you the album name but it's really long and Japanese haha. Edit: Ah found it, "Naraba, imi kara kaihou sareta hibiki ha ''oto'' no sekai no shinen wo kataru".

I voted Punk. True Punk is raw, simple, pure emotion, not over produced, even has poor sound quality sometimes. Like Black Flag, Misfits, Ramones, Bad Religion, Dead Kennedys.
