I don't actually mind Jet's music itself, mainly because they blatantly rip off other (good) artists and the final product is better than whatever bland radio rock would otherwise be playing. I don't actually mind if I hear their music on the radio. But Jet doesn't really have any artistic credibility.

Look What You've Done is a rip off of the Beatles' Sexy Sadie.

Also, Are You Gonna Be My Girl is incredibly suspiciously similar to Iggy Pop's Lust For Life.

And also, Roger Daltrey does his own scream better than the Jet singer does it.

Yeah but at least Wolfmother isn't completly blatant. I rather listen to them than Jet. "Are you gunna be my girl" ripped the Doors, Iggy, and The Allman Bros. all with one riff. I think Australia needs to get its **** together. Was Ac/Dc the last good band to come from down under?
