Default Kamelot

All right, just discovered this band, courtesy of Napsterlinks, and it's rather interesting, I must say. Their stuff has an epic, almost medieval feel that really sounds nice (and reminds me a bit of Nightwish).

Does anyone know of any similar sounding groups?

Sonata Arctica, sounds familiar...

Also, I thought that Epica was one of Kamelot's album titles. I ran a search on Napsterlinks and couldn't find a group named Epica, but I found the album. Gave it a listen...damn it's awesome.

Never cared for Kamelot.

I always prefered Uriah Heep when it came to super cheesy epic rock, after all, it was their innovation.

Demons And Wizards <3<3<3

Uriah Heep? Never heard of them; have they done anything I might recognize?

A few popular songs, Easy Livin, All My Life, The Wizard, all off Demons And Wizards.

They were like the Tenacious D of the 70s, lol.

Its a band too, interestingly enough, the lead singer of Epica did a guest starring in the music video to The Haunting by Kamelot.
