This is a Doom metal thread, Iced Earth isn't Doom metal, apparently Down is, and Murder Junkie already said it, I was agreeing with him, and you didn't mention Down at all in your original post, you just burned on Iced Earth which isn't even a doom metal band. Maybe I should say Jethro Tull suck in the prog metal thread if were doing that.
Moving on I haven't heard a whole lot of Doom that I liked out side of Sabbath, but I still have yet to hear that Candlemass CD, I'll probably get a copy burned. And what is Extreme metal, I've never heard of it.
