how come Metal doesnt have a forum of its own?
 

id say metal is about as 'rock' as indie and punk are... how come its lumped together?

I entirely agree, when I joined this forum it almost turned me off to it, when I saw the two put together. While Metal is a subdivision of Rock, Rock is a very broad category.

yeah.. im sure more people would join if the was a metal section. its alright talking about both in the same place but its already rather busy.

It happens mostly in the forums of genres liked by teenage kids I.E. Emo & Metal.

I think seperating them is just asking for trouble myself.

Anyway Metal & Rock is basically the same thing , it`s all guitar rock.

Yeah, I thought of that whole, "no this goes their" argument, but I think if everyone can not be retarted about it, and bitch about little dicrepensies like that. For instance, Sabbath would be open to either rock or metal, Cannibal Corpse however would not.

so they both use guitars so theyre both the same thing?
