Brought back from 2006. We're talking serious necromancy here.
I like the late 60s to late 70s the most (67 to 79). If that timespan was too long and I had to cut down on a bit, I'd start removing years from the late 70s part. I like some of the psychedelic rock and pop from the 60s and the hard rock, prog, metal and pop from the 70s. You also got good folk rock back then.
