AIC is definetly an influence to most bands today. If not they should be. I can't really seem to get into the new AIC without Layne. I like Jerry's "Degredation Trip" album, just wish he wouldn't have released the new album under Alice in Chains.

I disagree too, unless all you listen to is mainstream rock radio. They were an influence to many mid/late 90s and even 00s "alternative" rock bands already. Respect to AiC but we've heard enough of those.

I'm not talking about bands that sound like AiC knockoffs, I'm just talking about recent bands that bear any AiC influence at all. Like I said before, there may be handful but I can't think of any. Can you? I'm talking recent bands here, not late 90s nu-metal bands that are still putting out albums.
