And that is where you lose. again.

I don't own a DEP cd (i don't know why, I just haven't gotten around to it)

but I do own PsyOpus - The White Light. and their Demo.

The vocals "scream" hardcore (pun intended). This was the exact style popularized by Botch. any album. And calling Botch un-hardcore is very similar to calling Ashlee Simpson artistic. It's simply untrue.

oh I'm sorry, I didn't know I was supposed to limit hardcore to the 4 chord anthems or Black Flag or Minor Threat

real hardcore can range from From Ashes Rise to Comeback Kid to Botch to Drowning Man to Sinking Ships to This Is Hell

way to make judgements.

That was a laughable post. Clearly you don't listen to Black Flag often enough.

Your sig will get you banned, and its a shame because you are a somewhat intelligent member. Stop being so anti-authoritarian.

It doesn't matter if you don't like Black Flag, clearly they use more than 4 chords. You could proably even say Black Flag have quite a progressive sound if that ever was possible. Your ignorance is unacceptable.

I'll concede that I don't have a position to comment on Black Flag's use of chords. But saying that I "don't know what hardcore is" is a joke. And you saying that PsyOpus vocals are not a clear cut case of hardcore influence is also a joke.

it is ok to back down.
