new band to listen to
 

hey i listen to rock and heavy metal. i like bands like pantera, metallica, trivium, system of a down, and some lamb of god. im getting kind of bored with listening to them. does anyone listen to the same kind of stuff that knows of another band thats just as good?

Chimira, there pretty good, i dont listen to them that much but from what bands you listen to i would suggest them.

These might be too obvious, but I'm gonna say Shadows Fall and Killswitch Engage just because you didn't mention them. Hatebreed isn't too different, 'cept for the lack of melody. You'd probably like Manntis too.

there a amazing band.. the way the drums and guitars are played sounds very metal.. at least to me.. and the vocals is liek i guess new metal?? maybe.. well i love this band to bits... you may like them..

i also am into a lot of old metal bands

Yeah like the Judas Priest guy, Megadeth are my favorite thrash/heavy metal band like Metallica and Pantera, so I recommend them, try out some Anthrax too, they're pretty good, Down are a good band that are quite similar too. Or you could go for some NWOBHM that inspired it all, like Skid Row or Bleak House.
