Metallica don't suck. I think they are very talented and make quality music, however I totally dislike their music type. They just don't appeal to me, I would choose Iron Maiden guitar/drum solos over Metallica solos anyday. There is no justification to say they suck.

james heptfields voice is nowhere near in the shaoe it used to be however i bought 'death on the road' a couple of weeks ago and by the looks of it neither is bruce ****ingsons, load and re-load we're great albums, they weren't in my opinion as good as say 'and justice for all' but they were still great albums, st.anger is the only bad album metallica have put out, and when i say bad, i mean it lightly, i don't dislike the album i just think they're slipping a little.

to say metallica sucks is a grave error in judgement if you ask me, plus i don't recall seeing you justify your claim anywhere.

Even your beloved Kerry King said, after Mustaine saying he wanted to 'unite the metal community', "I just don't think he's the guy for the job, not after that last album (which was risk), Im all for joining up the metal community but right now, I think Metallica would be a better option, and that says alot."

Theres a reason for him saying that, its because Dave is, and always has been a whiney punk.
I love Slayer but Kerry's soloing is rather sloppy, Kirk always made better solos, though Kerry is better with riffs and rhythm.... So i have to agree that Kerry isn't better than Kirk persay, of course it's really hard to judge, both have their share of strength's and weaknesse's.

And as much as we dont get along, it's nice to know i am not the only member of the "Megadeth = meh" club.

lol. I love Tallica too though. Why is Kill Em All such an under-rated album ? It's amazing, probably their best in my opinion.

O-k, well when you and your personality disorders get in line, give me your final opinion.

First of all, since I quoted KK saying DM sold out and you quoted him saying DM was one of the best guitarists he'd ever seen, I guess we'll have to weigh this argument on the following: Whats more important, great skill or artistic integrity...

Also, I said KH steered them away from their Load sound because he's on record as telling Hetfield "[Mama Said] is the last time I want to play that close to a country song." I don't know what you're tlaking about in regards to KH not writing that much, have you looked at the song writing credits? I mean, im a Metallica nerd and searched through the MOP liner notes to find where they actually thanked "rush." Check again man, I recall KH being a huge part, not everything, but enough.

This is what I meant by insular, While I like half the songs on K'mA, its universally not regarded as their best work. Their songs were about driving fast cars and going out and looking for fights. Im sure this is me being elitist again but thats the mentality of a 15 year old. "Yeah man, lets just play fast and talk about cars and fighting people", ****, if they threw it songs about women they'd have been Motley Crue. As I said, I like the album, but I think your opinion of it is influenced by its rudementry thrash and its all inclusive metal accent (or dialect, Crowe which is it).

Well, you know how John Lennon and Paul Mccartney always had duel credits for every song that one of them wrote?... Even when one of them wasn't very involved in the song writing, or even made no contribution whatsoever?

/\ ok how does that apply here? Becuase as I said, he's not credited on everything, so if you're implying the same rule was being applied here, why would they stop using it periodiclly?
