I can't post a URL for the new In Flames single but I can still ask the community's opinion. Sorry its not Jester Race or Whoracle guys but, personally, I found the new song not to be jaw dropping but there were some tight, pummeling riffs and some subtle synths that really added to the song. All in all a solid single, expecting something more out of the new album though. So what's your take?

never been big on In Flames, a few songs here and there. This being one of them:
Overall, not a band I really care for, out of the Gothenberg scene, At the Gates I feel is the best band to come out of that scene, their first 2 releases were amazing. After that I think it got kinda meh.. "Slaughter of the Soul" was decent and all, but I do not find it to be their best like many people. I even liked Grotesque, they were an interesting band. But for In Flames, I think the first few albums are great, can't be bothered to listen to the newer stuff though, just does nothing for me.

I think the songs "Clad In Shadows" and "Behind Space" from Lunar Strain sound better when they are remade later on Colony. I also like "Dead Eternity" better on The Jester Race than on the "Dead God In Me" version on Subterranean. I think In Flames benefits from better production post-Subterranean and Anders was a better fit for the band than Stanne. Likewise, Stanne is a better fit for Dark Tranquility.
