I'm seeing In Flames with a shit ton of other bands at Mayhem this year. It's been a while since i've listened to them though, so I may have to get a few albums and give them a proper listen. I vaguely remember enjoying this song though a while back:

I`ve never seen a metal group go downhill as much as In Flames. Albums such as "Jester Race" and especially "Whoracle" are some of the best melodic death metal albums ever recorded.
Since "Reroute to Remain" and their attempt to go more mainstream, its all been downhill and in general this group has largely become devoid of any really good ideas and sound no better than any of the metalcore groups out there. |
