Use to play that one in my band many years ago. Michael Shenker's got so many great solos.

Picking my favorite Gilmour solo from Pink Floyd is almost impossible. If there was a gun to my head and I had to pick one, I'd have to go with Shine On You Crazy Diamond. Those three solos Gilmour does in it are so bluesy and epic. Others of Gilmour's I love are, in no particular order: Comfortably Numb Time Another Brick in the Wall Mother Hey You On the Turning Away

Im not usually into solos but i'd say, Django's solo sections in limehouse blues, Joey Santiago's solo on Hey, Kurt's solo on Serve the servants.
Oh, and Slash's solo on November rain. (This one was painful to admit)
