Listen to good metal or GTFO!

Love them. I like their older stuff alot more, though. Black Earth FTW LAWLZ!
Johan > Angela. Both have balls, but one uses them more. Favorites; The Immortal Bury Me an Angel Eureka Nemesis We Will Rise

Angela is my favorite metal chick. Saw them live last year and she absolutely ripped the stage up with her vocals and blew away the crowd. It was a festival so i'm sure people were in the crowd that disliked them. Even if I hadnt liked them going in, I sure as hell would have loved them going out. I even interviewed Angela via email for an essay on chicks of metal last year.

Not really fond of either but I'd actually say early Arch Enemy craps on At The Gates. Though I regard At The Gates to be one of the worst accidentally influential bands in metal. I seriously hate the whole melodeath thing but Arch Enemy brought a bit of (slightly American in a way) brutality to the sound that made it almost good.
It took all these years for someone to perfect it but I think Arsis does the genre a tiny bit of justice. In fact songs like A Diamond For A Disease are actually pretty solid. |
