i heard that the origins of that band name are some strange comic that claudio sanchez writes. so i did a little research: read this.
apparently, coheed and cambria are the characters in a story, and all of coheeds albums tell this story. kinda interesting i thought. also, up until 1999 when they replaced their previous drummer with josh eppard (current drummer, then of the band "3") they were known as "Shabutie". (which means "naked prey" or something along those lines.) i enjoy coheed. theyre not something i'd listen to non stop for days, but i like most of their stuff. i like the way they combine a lot of different styles of music, and originality definitely works for them.
