Steve Earle-Copperhead Road

I really loved this album. I think Steve is very underrated both as a songwriter and an activist, and I think this album is American music at it's finest. My favorite song would have to be his collaboration with the Pogues "Johnny Come Lately". Listen to the words, it is a song his Grandfather used to sing him about the reception the WWII soldiers got when they came home and the reception the Vietnam soldiers got when they came home. "Standin on a runway in San Diego, couple purple hearts so I move a little slow, ain't nobody here so maybe nobody knows, about a place called Vietnam"

UFO - Phenomenon

For some reason this band seem to have become forgotten about , which is a shame really because I think they were one of the better 70s rock bands.

This is a really good album & just as good as anything bands like Thin Lizzy ,Deep Purple or any of those bands around at the time that people still remember today.

Another overlooked artist is Ted Nugent. The Motor City Madman is a totally overlooked guitar player. I went through the drive-thru to get coffee today and they had to yell for me to turn down "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang". Listen to the song and you will see the injustice in this statement

Yes, indeed. I've been listening to a fair bit of Ted Nugent and Amboy Dukes material. And I'm loving it.

Did you not read the first post? Great album but easily the most recognized Flamming Lips album. From just talking to people most prefer absolution, and to Urban, I think Showbiz is easily the best album theyve released.
