I'm not a fan of Finch. It didn't matter to me if they broke up or not though. Sorry for your loss, but at least they got "What It Is To Burn" out before they did it, right?

A_Perfect_Sonnet 02-22-2006 04:28 PM

Unlike Anatomy of a Ghost, who just quit when they are about to release the new album... jerks.

agrees.

the world is better off without cookie cutter "emo" bands.

Finch really aren't that..the first album was more pop-punk and the lyrics didn't focus on "cut my wrists and my heart bleeds" etc..and the second album was just dark, but not in the cliched bayside hawthorne way.

early finch was HARDLY...cookie cutter emo. and "say hello to sunshine" couldnt have even been put anywhere near that genre. its disappointing because with the change between their first release and their second, i was sorta interested to see what their next would sound like. one or two of them will start a new band thatll get popular in the next few years, that i dont doubt.

explosions-in-my-pants 02-23-2006 08:23 AM

don't any of you have hope that they just might get back together in the future?

PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe 02-23-2006 08:33 AM

who said we didnt?

that would be great, and i hope they do. but honestly, i dont think its all that likely.
